Blogs that Should Be in Your Reader

Several blogs I enjoy that I don't often have an opportunity to share, in no particular order:

  • Future Perfect.  Jan Chipchase is a researcher at Nokia who has perhaps the World's Coolest Job - traveling around the world and talking to people.  And he takes pictures, which he posts with his observations.  He was recently featured in the New York Times Magazine.
  • Information Aesthetics.  Lots of short, interesting posts about data visualizations.
  • I Love Typography.  A relatively new blog with extremely long posts about the minutia of fonts, with lots of pictures.  For all you publishing nerds out there.
  • Defective Yeti.  He doesn't post as much as he used to, but Matthew Baldwin is still funny.  He also contributes to The Morning News, a site that I used to read more of but got out of the habit.
  • Signal vs. Noise.  The mascot of the Web 2.0 bandwagon pontificates.
  • Cool Tools.  Useful things, for people who like useful things.

What blogs should be in my feed reader?

I'm James Sulak, a software developer in Houston, Texas.
